REACTOR is a modern and sophisticated web-based application for managing health cases for research animals. It can be easily integrated with other systems or data sources.

PI Portal Application:

"PI Portal" web application allows PIs and lab members to view information about open and closed cases, communicate with Vets.

For researchers and lab members
PI Portal allows researchers and lab members to view case details, correspond with Vets, and manage lab contacts. PIs and lab managers can manage their own lab contacts.

Managing Lab Contacts:

Internal users with admin priviledges can manage lab contacts from the "Admin" tab

-	Create a new lab from an approved PI
-	Pre-populate lab with users assigned to the protocol
-	Add or remove contacts from an existing lab
-	Change contact information for lab users
-	Assign lab managers (with elevated priviledges in the PI Portal application)

PIs and designated "lab managers" can manage lab contacts from the PI Portal

-	PIs and lab managers can do all actions listed above except for creating new labs

PIs and lab managers can manage their own lab contacts.

Reporting:

Chronological case report

-	Single view of all activity that has taken place for a particular case

Rich Excel reports for summary and drilldown information

-	Analyze trends over time by condition, facility or PI

Lab contacts can view case details and communicate with Vets through the PI Portal

System Requirements:

Windows Server 2003 or high

IIS

NET 2.0 or higher

SQL Server 2008 or higher

(optional) SharePoint 2010 (enterprise edition not required)

-	Reactor can be deployed as part of a SharePoint Solution package. It can run as a stand-alone web application or be incorporated into existing SharePoint Web Application as a separate site collection or sub-site.
