Powerful .NET Controls

Easily Navigate
Your XML Data

Sorry. SoftArtisans TreeView is no longer available for download. However, we are considering providing this control as Open Source in the future.

SoftArtisans TreeView is a powerful .NET control that provides easy navigation for .NET Web sites. This control implements several powerful features, including support for data binding and the use of rich DHTML. SoftArtisans TreeView has highly customizable rendering options and layout. Most interfaces that use the SoftArtisans TreeView can be authored declaratively using simple markup syntax, but the control can also be accessed programmatically. Dynamically expand and collapse tree nodes in hierarchical, menu-based or tabular views. SoftArtisans TreeView lets you
  • Customize graphical representation with CssFile or CssClass.
  • Customize XML representation with XslFile property.
  • set CachedLevel controls number of levels to be sent with each roundtrip.

Features of the new beta version include:
  • Datasource: The new "SADirectory" Datasource walks a directory tree to represent the directory structure graphically (files can be excluded from the tree by file extension through the "ExtensionsToExclude" property).
  • Outlining: The SoftArtisans TreeView now supports Windows Explorer-like outlining.
  • Programmatic Access: A tree can now be built programmatically through SATreeView.AddNode() and Cnode.AddNode().
  • Non-leaf Events: Nodes that are not leaves now offer an event - "NodeClick".
  • Unique Images: Nodes can now be assigned a unique image through its "Image" property.
