SoftArtisans
software is licensed and priced on a PER SERVER or PER SERVER
CPU basis.
A server license or CPU license is required on each server or
server CPU where SoftArtisans software is installed. An additional
license is required for every development PC where the product
is installed. There are no per-user, per IP address or per Web
site licenses. EVERY SERVER and DEVELOPMENT PC where SoftArtisans
software is installed requires its own license, even if it is
a test machine. ExcelWriter Desktop licensing is per-development
PC. There are no runtime royalties. |

Multiple
Server Licenses
SoftArtisans offers discounted value packs for multiple server
licenses: a 10 pack, 25 pack, 50 pack, etc.

SoftArtisans
Client-side Products are Licensed Per Server
|
| SoftArtisans client-side tools, such
as XFile and JFile, are also licensed per server. There are
no per-client fees. When client-side tools are loaded, a dialog
box is displayed asking the user's permission to install and
run the client-side software. |

Developer
Edition Licenses
|
| For ExcelWriter application developers,
SoftArtisans offers ExcelWriter-developer and ExcelWriterLE-developer
edition licenses. The ExcelWriter and ExcelWriterLE developer
licenses offer the same functionality as the server licenses
but are limited to only a single spreadsheet created at one
time, which is the typical development environment. SoftArtisans
offers ExcelWriter-developer licenses so that customers do not
have to purchase additional full licenses for development machines.
Server license(s) are required to deploy an ExcelWriter application.

| If you are interested in bundling
a SoftArtisans component into your application product for resale
or distribution, you must have a valid, signed, and fully paid
OEM agreement with SoftArtisans. Please see the SoftArtisans

| Redistribution of SoftArtisans free
components, such as SMTPmailFree, is not allowed without SoftArtisans
expressed written permission. |

Who Previously Purchased a Site License

| Site licenses and site license renewals
are no longer available. Upon expiration of the site license,
customers may upgrade to the equivalent number of server licenses
